Aside from the obvious RTFM, how much of a pain in the ar is it to change the bulbs to these nightbreaker bulbs?

Easy peasy to change, take the whole light unit out and do it on the bench, dont fiddle with the lights still fitted to the car. Two bolts on the top of the lamp and a twisty plastic thing on the rear.

I checked their website and their top quality bulbs are called super brilliance by the looks of things. I shall drive to the nearest store this afternoon and have a look. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |

Got some Ultra Brilliance bulbs from Halfords today. They are the best bulbs in the range and increase brightness by up to 120% apparently.

Now all you need to do is buy some canbus rated LEDs for the side lights because as I found out when I fitted the +120s the standard side lights now look a dirty dingy yellow in comparison, a few quid on flea bay will get you some brilliant white units that do justice to your lamps 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership 2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . MartynB, I had a quick look at those on ebay and are there any additional bits needed or do they simply use the existing fitting?

It's guess work so put your headlight unit almost into position and plug in the main socket and then try your side lights before bolting the headlight into position ( my money is on one side ok the other needs a swap ) |

I got these but could not get them to fit in the bulb holder as the plastic moulding of the light was slightly to wide for the bulb holder.
