My FL2 was built in July 2007 (but not registered before Nov) and must have been one of the first with DPF in Norway. Yours being a ogiginal Tambora Flame and was probably built earlier - 2006 maybe and probably does not have a DPF. In any case you should be able to tell from the road tax you paid - less for DPF vehicles - and maybe it is stated on the logbook (ownership document) 160 BHP (no DPF) 152 (with DPF). Hope that helps 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Thanks Andy. I pay full road tax so that would suggest I don't have a DPF! Wuhu! Extra power!

Yes. Install Microcat for Land Rover and enter there the VIN and it will tell you all about that car. You can find the Microcat program (for Land Rovers, as it exists for other makes too) on the net, on torrents. The program, how to install it, how to run it, the way you run it , etc. More of that I can't say, as it will infringe the copyright stuff... Or PM me your VIN, if you want, and I will tell you. |

Of course.....I would never suggest you put "bargain oil" in our precious engines.......but quality, conformist oil, obtained at "bargain price!" |

I've just completed my first oil change of my Freelander 2. Removing the Filter Filter Cover was quite difficult and without the correct tools is damn near impossible.
