Wish it wasn't true PaulC, but all the LR dealers I've come across are A, P with E's.

Stratstone of Wolverhampton no longer sell new LR's only used (and only a handful at that), their showroom windows are covered in LR posters so that you cannot see the empty sales floor inside! I wonder why they lost the right to sell new?

I have experience of both Pratstones (sorry Stratstones) and Arseholes (sorry Marshalls) and found them to be very very poor, would NEVER go to them for anything ever again! Colliers however - much better Service Department. However their sales leave a lot to be desired, when I was enquiring about a PCP on a FL2 SD4 HSE the salesman asked if i wanted manual or automatic, errrr SD4 is auto only Mr Salesman. Think he got the hump coz he never confirmed any prices and I took my business eleswhere.

Confusious says never ask a question to which you may not like the answer, but no it doesn't apply to LPR........ I do answer questions concisely mind you.

Is there any forum where car owners praise their dealers? Apart from maybe lexus, but who cares what the average lexus driver says/thinks/does?

Tough job dealing with the 'general public' I couldn't deal with all the gripes and moans of a car buyer. Id just tell them all to 'F' off and go down the pub.
And if someone came in first thing Monday morning yakking on about towbars and electrics he'd probably leaving with a company biro in his eye. Then when he got home I'd invoice him for the pen Evil or Very Mad

What with the general public, and the danger of low flying BMW's I'll have to say "I'm out"

Ps. my dealer I's very good---- I think, my car doesn't breakdown so I dont know. but previous defenders were quite good at breaking and he looked after them well Thumbs Up At work

Not all dealers are the same. I've used Shukers in Shrewsbury and can't fault them in any way although i didn't buy my FL2 from them. A real good old fashoned outfit who seem to care and treat the customer with respect. Top marks go to them. They get all my new buiness from now on.
A vey different story applies the dealer who i bought the car from. Yuk! Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

You might not be in business very long, but you might be in HM Prison a while!

Hey, if you are spending thousands on a car, we have a right to demand the best, Monday morning or not. Most of it is brought on their own heads anyway.
