So the new throttle body arrived. swaps over the sensors and fitted it. Tried to start but it was just turning over. Still no start.
Ran the scanner...... Now yesterday I got P02E0-13 and B12CA-15.
So obviously the PO2 code led me to the throttle body....To be honest I didn't think much about the other code (silly me) The new throttle body has now been fitted, and the PO2 code has cleared itself. As per Boxa's advice after fitting, I turned on the ignition, and gave it a minute for the the new throttle body to whirr etc, before trying to start.
On the scan after trying to start I still have the B12CA-15 code... If I try to delete it, it comes straight back....... Any idea you nice bunch of people ?

Just done a hard reset. 90seconds. reconnected battery, ran a scan, and code still there. Tried to clear, but still there. ....The code is B12CA-15 Start/stop status indicator permanent.

I think its time to go back to basics and check the timing and also crank sensor does your code reader have live data facility

Not sure if it has live data. I'm going to take off the starter tomorrow, and the cam cover, and check the timing as a starting point. I can find no info on the net about code B12CA-15. I will keep the forum posted about progress and the timing. Fingers crossed that I haven't knackered the blinking thing.

Relax ive been there and yes it does get frustrating but you'll get there in the end, once you've checked the timing you'll be one step closer to getting it sorted but you really do need better diagnostic tools for live data etc that will tell you if you have fuel rail pressure and CPS signal etc without it you are working blind, over the years I have always purchased relevant diagnostics for whatever vehicle ive owned and its saved me a fortune in repairs, do you know anyone with a decent scan tool that you can borrow.

It might do live data. Truth is I just don't know. I will start with checking the timing tomorrow. thanks again for all the support. I will report my findings.

So, it's time to give you a Monday update... So Nodge was right. The timing is out. Now, hands up I may well have caused this by undoing the Crankshaft pulley using my unorthodox method. However, it may have been caused when the auxiliary belt started to shread, and some of that got behind the crank pulley and around the teeth of the crank cog. We shall never know...However it was probably me ! [ Censored ].
Because the car had been turned over the valves will have met the pistons Big Cry Might that just be that I have broken some rockers, or will I have done that together with piston holes, and bent valves ??
I didn't get the codes read until after I had spun the engine I got the code for the Crank sensor, You may have seen the pic, and I have replaced that. The other code that I got was B12CA-15. In can find very little info about that code. Could it have been caused when the belt slipped, or is it completely unrelated ?
.
What I am trying to get an understanding of is, before I even consider either repairing it, or getting it repaired, is is the code B12Ca-15 related to my total screw up with the timing.
.
I don't want to have it fixed and then find I have still got a problem with the body control module.
.
Any thoughts kind folks. Feel free to call me a total Censored .

Get a trusted garage to look at the valves with a borescope

In my experience the rockers normally break and hopefully no valve damage will have occurred next step is to remove the plastic breather cover and fuel rail and then the camshaft cover this will give you access to inspect any damage it sounds like a lot but it’s really not that difficult to do

Timing is out by quite a bit. So I expect a clash happened.
