In that case, if there was no leak, the oil is inside and OK.
Generally the oil is contained inside the compressor, when the compressor is changed and it's an original one.
During functioning, it is distributed among AC components.
If the system leaked "brutally", then the oil must be replenished also. In your case, there is no need.

Yes, the oil is in a continuous motion together with the gas. They are a homogenous mix.

Hi,
Got a variation on this… over recent weeks I have had fog blowing out of the vents! It started after I turned down the fan setting to far which turned off the climate control; I turned it back on immediately and noticed a puff of fog. Over the next few days it seemed to get worse to the extent that it was condensing and water was dripping out of the vents.
I am assuming that this is nothing more than climatic conditions (temp and humidity) but am a little concerned that it may be something else…?

maybe your drip drains are blocked, check and see if it makes a wet patch on the drive after a longish drive with aircon on,(the pipe can come apart and flood the drivers footwell At work

Interesting to read this thread on noisy aircon. Recently I have noticed mine was getting noisIer, and again noise only heard when aircon fully on, not in"econ" mode. Took mine to an aircon specialist who said it was most likely low gas levels. A quick connect to their system which removed the old gas (just 315g left), checked for leaks and refilled with the correct amount of gas,730g, and my system has gone quiet again...and gets much colder. This regas cost just £40 Smile apparently the gas just seeps out naturally over time and that aircon systems should be serviced and topped up every 18 months but never are.

Having the same airco noisy, i was happy to read this Very Happy Cheers for this!!
