Like it or not, looks like we are having one. WM have not ruled it out, just no agreement on dates...

thought that they couldn't have another for 15 years! Common sense isn't very common.

more madness, the public should never be able to directly vote on single issues .

Also if they do, the press shouldnt get hold of the demographics of which area voted what, are they trying to re start civil wars? At work

What about doing the opposite and having an English referendum and leave the minor "nations" to get on with it? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

It was a once in a generation, unfortunately we didn't ask what species the generation was for , turns out to be a fruit fly.

Sturgeon's vote leave camp lost the referendum but in her eyes it is perfectly acceptable to demand another one. If she lost another one, it would be perfectly acceptable in her eyes to demand yet another one.

If the vote leave camp won but vote remain camp demanded another vote, she would say it is simply unacceptable to have a further referendum. The people have spoken and demanding another one is just not happening... Rolling Eyes LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Sturgeon never was and never will be interested in Scotland's well being only some weird form of independence in her mind, I suppose it is similar to brexit , it was campaigned for and voted for by those who wanted brexit, there is no plan for a yes vote, just like there was no plan for brexit, you have to suck it and see how it turns out. The EU will not want another non contributor especially as they have just lost a net contributor, so no Euro they can have a Scottish Pound but not tied to the B of E, just a currency name with no substance, I wonder whether they want the RBS back as that was the bank of choice for Salmonds independent Scotland, the wheels fell off that trolley my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

They know how many people are eligible to vote so they should only have people who want to leave voting, that will save the majority having to do anything. Smile

If Scotland had independence first time around they would have left the EU when they left the UK. The UK is leaving the EU in one way or another and Scotland is still part of the UK, so to say they are being dragged out by England is a little strong.
If Sotland has another vote, they will still be out of the EU, whether they are part of UK or not.

What has changed since the first vote;
- price of oil has bottomed, so they would be in even deeper financial stress than they would after the last vote and the made up oil figures.
- currency, no still the same, no plan revealed, but they won't have a say in inflation rates if they use the £, so wouldn't be able to control their own currency, and would have to react to what the £ is doing. Same if they use any other currency.
-Defence. As non signature to numerous agreements some of the equipment they think they would get in the military equipment would not be able to be passed onto them. Same with intelligence.
- Ship building for the RN. It wouldn't happen in Scotland, EU rules allowed each country to give military contracts to home contractors. Obviously we'd be outside of their rules by then so could do as we wish, but why would the UK support the jobs in Scotland when it is an independent country. BAe would bring the jobs to UK ports if they wanted the contract.

This is all about Nicola Sturgeon stamping her feet and hiding the failings with the Government in Scotland.

The SNP were elected with the promise of another Indy ref if Scotland voted to stay in the EU, and the overall vote was leave...
