aligning the light unit is one thing but apparently each individual bulb has its own light pattern so to do the job 100% you should get the lights re-aligned......... some how ever are just born lucky and it works right first time no fuss

The difference is obvious npinks. The only concern I have is the expected lifetime. I red quite a lot of dissapointments on the internet about this. |

You're right, it is still a much cheaper alternative than xenon lights. However, the price is not my concern but the unconvenience if they break down somewhere in the middle of the night... Yesterday I noticed that one of my highbeam headlights is broken so -maybe - I'll give it a try. |

When the 10 mm bolts are replaced there is some scope for movement, not a huge amount, but enough to make a bit of difference. The plastic tab on the headlamp body becomes indented with shape of the bolt and there's a good chance that when replacing the bolts they will pick up on the indentation and return to their original position (and hence retain there original alignment). You know me and detail !!! Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor ... but not any more ... ... psst look at my gallery! Company cars ... a thing of the past - May 2013. |
