aligning the light unit is one thing but apparently each individual bulb has its own light pattern so to do the job 100% you should get the lights re-aligned......... some how ever are just born lucky and it works right first time no fuss

The difference is obvious npinks. The only concern I have is the expected lifetime. I red quite a lot of dissapointments on the internet about this. |

You're right, it is still a much cheaper alternative than xenon lights. However, the price is not my concern but the unconvenience if they break down somewhere in the middle of the night... Yesterday I noticed that one of my highbeam headlights is broken so -maybe - I'll give it a try. |

When the 10 mm bolts are replaced there is some scope for movement, not a huge amount, but enough to make a bit of difference. The plastic tab on the headlamp body becomes indented with shape of the bolt and there's a good chance that when replacing the bolts they will pick up on the indentation and return to their original position (and hence retain there original alignment).
