I'm not saying there isn't a problem with the initial cars, but with mine it seems to be fine.

I've got my car 3rd of April. The parking sensor volume is just fine. I even have to turn it off after having parked 'cause it sounds quite loud and annoying. I believe it's a matter of personal taste (the volume I mean) or early models do have a problem. Sorry I haven't listened to an early one to judge. |

The button is also useful to switch on the sensors without having to engage reverse gear, for example when driving forwards into a garage. |

Mine was one of the early 7th Dec 06 issue cars (but I didnt buy it until mid Jan 07), volume of the sensor is very quiet, but four months on I've tuned my hearing into the slightest noise now, so the sensor noise is now just fine, I just don't get any sleep |

Well , after all this chat about parking sensors , I realised I haven't heard mine at all. But there again I haven't had cause to use them. So I went to play .. guess what nothing!

I've always said that was one of the best reasons for having a towbar fitted. Other folks wouldn't nudge you when they were parking (well if they did they get a nice little ding in their bumper for their trouble), and hey thumping a brick wall with a tow bar never hurt anybody |
