I thought we played well, a bit of the rub of the green it could have been different, what did Joe Hart have to do, the Italian keeper made a string of saves. We played well till Welbeck came off, it died then, the hole down our left was a problem though and our corners were woeful, three went straight through and one went in to the crowd.

All I'm seeing is a series of cheating, rolling on the floor, feigning injury, over-acting... These over pampered, over paid, over ego'd pansies need to be sorted. Can you imagine how they'd get on in (eg) the Six Nations? Can you imagine how they'd be treated in (eg) professional golf, snooker, athletics, rugby union etc. They'd be booted out for their cheating, girly ways.
Pathetic. Footbal can / could be exciting & a decent sport but for me it's ruined. Ruined and corrupt from top to bottom. It's a swillpool. In my opinion. ...

The French look good, and as a young team they should get better as the tournament goes on. Might be a dark horse.

Thought England gave Italia too much space and hardly any tackles. Despite Woy saying it's the best performance since he's been manager, we won't get far without a lot more passion and aggression. You could even see it during the National Anthem, half heart and not full heart. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

So, we routinely see snooker players actually cheating during a game? Many times a game? Pretening to be injured? Moving the ball to improve their position? Trying to get their opponent 'sent off' or penalised? Arguing with the referee? etc etc ...
Nope. Football has this seamy edge sewn up.
I can't watch a match on TV these days without shouting at the players to "get off the bloody floor - he didn't touch you!" ...

I do recall an incident a few years when certain balls were moved, whilst we are mentioning cheating, is not match fixing cheating, Stephen Lee.

If money is involved the, the tendency to cheat is higher.

Without doubt its the worlds biggest televised cheating competition and always will be until FIFA do something about it, which they obviously aren't going to with the current regime. Unfortunately the referees only weapon is a card, I really think they should bring in a sin bin with minimum five minutes spells, someone doing in game analysis to catch cheating and inform the ref so he can sin bin them.

When the players stop cheating, then you can start having a go at the officials for poor decisions.

On the other hand I do enjoy laughing at the teams who lose it and throw it all away because things aren't going their way and then have a fake cry at the end.
