| So far could not be happier..easily getting over 700km to a tank around town, power(tourque) is a lot more linear and slightly further down the rev range. So could not be happier.. |

I have just got my FL2 back (2 days ago) from getting re-mapped. Mine is an older TD4 (09 model) so the results are not as significant as what they can get out of a later 12/13 model TD4.

It sounds as though you actually have an extra intermediate service. In the UK there's only the A and B, at 24,000 km intervals, so the oil is expected to do 24,000 between changes.

I would sooner use an oil to the correct 'Ford spec' at half the price and change my oil at half the recommended mileage.
But if using the correct spec why change it at half the recommended mileage? ... |

I get different figures than that??
The actual diameter change (not taking into account the wear of each tyre) between the two is 43mm which is 6.27%.
215/65R16 is 686mm and 215/75R16 is 729mm

.....the torx bolt (which has a small indentation with a pin sticking up, so normal torx bits won't work) ...
They are 'Security Torx'. You should be able to get bits/drivers for them easy enough ... |
