Joining the shortest queue at the supermarket tills to find the oldie in front seems extremely surprised they are asked to pay for their goods and cant remember where their purse is!

Trying to do my job but having to deal with queues of pensioners who don't have any money or cant find their purse, followed up by annoyed, swearing teenagers who complain about the pensioners worse than the pensioners complain about having to pay for their groceries or how they have lost their a for mentioned purse.

Not really everyday. But I need to vent Smile

Importing a truck, about to drive it away from the port, only to be chased down by a Quarantine officer having a fit because I don't have a Dept. of Agriculture Import Approval.

Ask why I need one now when I didn't 6 months ago, he does not now.

Apply for permit, pay the money, only to be told a week later by another officer in another office I should not have applied for a permit because I don't need one. I was told how they were very sorry about messing me around and sorry I had to pay storage fees (which I cant get back and they wont pay) for the vehicle which sat on the wharf while I applied for a permit.

And like all governments. They debited my credit card for the permit application straight away, as soon as I applied. But it takes 3 weeks for them to refund it.

Evil or Very Mad

Thud

Maintenance company came around this morning and fixed the bench. The tree is still a bit wonky though. Laughing
