Thank you for your reply! I took it back to the garage and found out it was a faulty bleed nipple on the slave cylinder.... replaced it free of charge and now ... touch wood is all fixed!

Thanks Yorky Bob.... when I bought the beast I ensured the ten year service was completed ( a year early but can't do it any harm). That included a new Cambelt /water pump ect Smile
