United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Narvik Black

I've shot a few times including with my dads beretta and it is by far the nicest gun i have shot with... Thumbs Up

Feels 'smooth' compared to other guns I have shot with and even though i'm just an amature i was able to shoot 80s and 90s consistantly on sporting Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

Having had a day out on the clays at coniston I'm very happy with my purchase

Did about 300 clays between me my brother and dad, hit a fair few and missed a few but overall it was good day shooting

Bit puzzled on which chokes to use, ended up keeping it to Improved and improved modified which it came fitted with

Bit lighter I think than the Browning's but suited me nicely

Using ELEY carts I had 28g 7.5 and 24g 8's (they was supposed to be 28's but he have me 24's by accident) which I found to be just as good as the 28's but less recoil Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

'chokes' Question please explain Confused

EDIT: Never mind, I googled it. I thought once you bought a gun that was it, the spread was fixed, as you can read I know absolutely nothing about them and have never fired one. Smile

You're right in what you say, having never held a gun before I think I ought to look for somewhere local to at least get the gist of what do to. At least then I'll look as if I know what I'm doing Laughing

Thanks for the heads up mcpher....., exactly what I was looking for, good to get some advice from someone who seems to know what he's talking about Shocked but watching 'Sharpe' on tele, he puts his gunpowder down the copper tubes and then he rams his balls down finishing off with cotton wool Thumbs Up
That's how 'Sharpe' does it on the tele Exclamation

Slightly different but relating to carrying guns in cars.some time ago I purchased a Toyota Landcruiser VX from a main dealer. When Iwas cleaning out the inside after several weeks of ownership I moved back the drivers seat and a LIVE cartridge shell was wedged underneath. Took it to the local police station and all hell let loose. firearms officer wanted to know what I was doing with a LIVE shell- where it came from- previous owner and car reg (I had my own private plate fitted by this time). Thought I was going to be put in a cell the interrogation was that bad and I was only doing my duty by reporting it.

Eventually they realised after about an hour that I was innocent (after the room was evacuated) and said they would trace the previous owner of the vehicle and revoke his gun licence. Even prosecute as well for carrying ammunition in a dangerous manner within a vehicle.

Was that a shotgun cartridge or a rifle bullet?

Many years ago I read somebody found a live 9mm bullet in his newly bought car, tuen out it was a police issue round, and his car was ex police firearms unit Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
