I was in Aberdeen back in January and on the main road coming out of Aberdeen towards Dundee there is a Shell Station about 1/2 a mile from the roundabout, on the way in they were changing the prices on the Diesel (non electric board) two hours later I called in and it had gone up again and while I was there filling up they came out again and put them up more Shocked In two hours their had been three price increasing diesel by 4p a litre. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Dave, you jealous? In Wales have Suffolks mostly. The sheep you have up there are Blackface. They aint exactly pretty.

Are they still into the old Scottish trick of wearing wide topped wellies when chasing Ewes round the field? You know, so theres plenty of room to stick the animals legs inside the boot as well as your own feet. Stops them running away or so I am told!

I have just been to the Shell garage up the road and its 139.9 Shocked

According to the trip computer I had 10 miles until empty and I put in £50 which has taken it to just over the half way mark.

I only passed my driving test in 2002 and I recall the diesel being 60p. In the good old days for the older members it was cheaper still but 2002 is not too long ago to say its now 13 Censored 9.9 LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

Not giving away my age but when I had my first car (a side valve Morris Oxford) i got a few pence change from £1 when buying 4 yes FOUR gallons (18.2 litres) and 1 pint of oil. Oil consumption was about 100-150 miles per pint. Works out at 22p per gallon or just under 5p per litre for petrol.
Manufacturers would not consider oil consumption excessive unless it used more than 1 pint in 250 miles. This was the warranty guidline. All FL2's (3) Gone

FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Yes, and I can remember the days when a half crown would buy you a good horse and cart and you still had enough change to drink yourself silly on Ale and buy a return ticket on the Titanic, but tell the youth of today and they just don't believe you! Rolling Eyes

Any body seen an Ewe? I've lost one.
