United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

I thought I had read somewhere that Eddie had opened a depot in Belgium, fills up with cheaper diesel there and carries on as normal.

Maybe I ought to get my syphon (sorry) out next time I'm in Cumbria Twisted Evil .

Drove down from Edinburgh last night was shocked to see £1.42.9 just on A1 in Durham area but it seems that this is cheap compared to some.
Filled up at a BP station owned by the CO-OP - spend £30 on fuel get a £5 off voucher in the co-op on food. Paid £1.35.9 just outside Alnwick so not cheap but didn't feel completely ripped off and got my divi points as well.

Very pleased with my 41.0 mpg for 605 miles round trip including a weeks motoring around Northumberland. 200 of these miles with camping trailer and 4 up + dog Plus eldest son's dumb bells - not sure how he got those in without me spotting them...... saw 43.6 mpg on way up but couldn't maintain this over full trip. Thumbs Up There's always a way forward!

It was interesting what the Sunday Times Had to say, about how much an increase of just $10 an barrel will hurt different country's The USA likes to have fuel cost's at around $50 a barrel,
$120.00 a barrel will and is hurting them.

It's a little sad when your fuel cost's per week are more than your food cost's
(yes we could all buy a cheaper car but thats not very green if we all did that over night)

He'd need to park his trucks up. There aren't enough hauliers to fill the gaps so our country with what he does would feel it immediately. Fuel transport, Tesco's, car transporters, everything would be affected.

It would harm hi to park everything up, otherwise he would have transferred everything to rail by now. Plus you need a truck when the train gets to its nearest depot Thumbs Up

And his British trucks stay in Britain, they very rarely go abroad, so he pays roughly the same prices for diesel as we do. Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35
