I have tried the search function but to no avail.... I very slowly and only for a moment 'grazed' my near side mirror on a wall this pm. Hopefully the white paint will polish out but the mirror assembly no longer fits neatly into the housing. There is a small gap to the outside, enough for rain to enter!

you have to dismantle the door interior to remove the mirror

Thanks CG, The Doctor's problem was more serious than mine......I just need to refit the mirror in the housing (I hope!), JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.

Bump, Any advice anyone????? Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.

Thanks Ad.....I will try but suspect relatively small gap between mirror assembly and housing will not show up well in a pic. If you look at the vid the older version has a curved joint between mirror housing and mirror assembly. This is were the gap is...
