United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

Discovery 3, is hours away from going...Freelander 2, picked up tommorow.

Lets hope it will not depreciate as badly...D3 is a great car( i have had two) and I expect good things from the freelander two, wish me luck

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Narvik Black

I have just traded a 07 plate D3 in for a FL2......picking up on saturday.

Hope the FL2 is better on fuel than the D3

D Day, Disco 3 has gone, and F2 arrived. 3 hours in and i do not miss the d3.

The F2, is responsive, light, eager, and so much sharper...to drive, its like a D3 thats been on a diet.

Much noiser, and sound like a diesel, miss the TDV6 sound, but this 2.2 is responsive enough a turbo lag is not as bad as the TDV6.

Only problem I have is my Windows phone will not sync !

I love the lights on the wing mirrors when you blip the remote..

And best of all....Fuel consumption is brilliant

Day two tommorow, will the dog fit in ??

yeah!

Glad you like it so far! I know what you mean about the D3 TDV6 engine sound, but to be honest the FL2 seems quiet enough once warm.

The FL2 is wonderfully responsive, more economical and more enviromentally friendly ... in fact brilliant! Thumbs Up

You'll also notice a difference off-road with the FL2. Lighter and more responsive, and some more subtle differences like the gradient release control! Guess you may miss the air suspension, but hey!
Life is not a dress rehearsal!

Day 3...

Weekend jobs...

I have a little sporting Land rover. It is so respnsive, perfect for getting past the Saturday idiiots on the road.

Handles so well. Discovery was so vauge on a motorway, this little thing is very settled.

Freinds and family rounf today...its like having a new baby..(looking and touching) .Every one, prefered it, to the Discovery 3.

Asked them why, Looks Better, better interior, nicer ride....

Best of all, fuel is high 30 s on a run, and early 30 on the Saturday town run.....wonderful.

Only pain is my phones wont connect, a SPV 700 by orange (smart phone) and nokia N73

Cant wait for day 4 !! Thumbs Up

I think the second photo has a little bit of dirt under the rear wheel arch, pay more attention next time your washing it Laughing

It is a nice looking colour

It has that "is it gold or more silver" look about it

Nice to see somebody going out there and not choosing Stornaway Grey Whistle
