Theoretically, if towing, the oil change service interval is 6 months as it is listed under 'Arduous conditions' as Z = Towing a trailer or driving in mountainous conditions.

How do you interpret the service interval for towing though, twice, three times a year, maybe a tenth of the 12000 miles. Or are they talking of continuously towing a trailer for a living. Confused

They don't make it easy to understand.

One school of thought re oil changes was to initially leave the oil in a brand new car for the full twelve months to help the engine to bed in. Subsequent oil changes would then be every six months. I think it was the Daily Telegraph motoring correspondant suggested this. Bryan
