what were the weather conditions ? as a chunk of ice stuck to any one of the wheels would give this type of vibration.

A binding front brake can give wheel shudder, very often the shudder releases brake. Check pads are not seized in caliper. This usually happens when accelarating after braking.

Might had to get dirty and have a look at the brakes and joints see if anything is a miss

a nail or screw in the tyre which has now worn down flush to the tyre and not letting any air out yet freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold |

I'll check that too, though the last time, a few months ago I also heard a clicking too everytime the screw hit the Tarmac until it became fully embedded

You could try the same bit of road and the same lane, it could be the road surface |
