I used Thule ones on my previous Freelander 2 without any problems. Got mine from www.roofbox.co.uk. You will need the cross bars and the feet check out the link below for options.

I looked into it and found that to get nice looking rail and crossbars it would end up costing close to what my L dealer could do them for. The difference in price I put dwn to being the genuine item and looking pretty good.

I fitted prorack whispbars that I got from roofbox.co.uk and have been very pleased with them, I have left them on, no noise and no noticable change in fuel consumption, I got the PRS17's, worth looking in their bargain basement I got them for about £125 delivered and they were brand new. See thread here for pictures fitted.

I've got a set of the Thule 754 Footpacks for sale. They come with locks with the same key. RRP £ 75.00. PM me with an offer.

It takes about 5 minutes to fit/remove the Thule roofbars once you've got them adjusted to fit the first time.

Just bought the Thule 757 / 861 combo to go on the LR roof rails. Seems a quality product, but not driven with them yet.

You don't need the LR roof rails and cross bars. You can use the Thule ones from Roofbox.co.uk. You will need the feet and cross bars either standard or aero. Try this link for an idea of what you'll need.

Ok I've put Thule ones on, act like theold roof racks from times of old when they clipped to the rainwater trim and cost £20.
