would have been tempted if it had the armrests - cant drive a FL2 without them now! (tried on a courtessy FL2 and kept falling into the cupholders! ) |

+1 Why oh why you dont get armrests across the range and you end up having to pay a premium of full leather or HSE to get them is beyond me... this must be the single biggest oversight for the Freelander range? or is it just LR being cheeky and thinking that people will pay the money Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints |

Yep, also couldn't agree more. Weird decision, thay are not even an option unless you shell out for expensive leather seats. The arm rests are the main reason we went for an HSE and also why we briefly considered other options - like Kuga/Patriot/Q5. So this new model is of no interest whatsoever. 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass. |

Looks smart. Do all 2011MY get Xenons as all the one's I have seen have them? (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

They look good, BUT I have seen a couple of the refreshed FL's on the road and the new grille looks naff. Prefer the looks of mine fitted with an SD4. 2010MY Freelander 2 HSE Auto

James, I like the look of the new car but IMO if I pay that much I would rather go the whole hog and have an HSE. Is there no way incidentally that some way of obtaining or getting LR to offer the armrests as an accessory for the below HSE model. I have the Wood armrest but it is not a patch on the pukka ones. Can't say I like it - think the Sport look is rather, err, chavvy myself - but each to their own.

I recieved a bit of junk mail from the local dealer saying that no vat increase on any Freelander ordered before the end of December and delivered by March, I don't know if this is just a dealer promotion or is backed by LR. |
