You've got to ask yourself what the garage were thinking in not giving that one a little extra TLC!! Shame he didn't name them! Blue

He Lives in the Cotswolds (see colum in Sunday Times INGEAR supplement) so can't be difficult to find out who he uses and yes you'd think they would go balls out to make sure Clarkson got the very best service Shocked It just shows the state of the country these days-No one gives a toss, They still get paid Twisted Evil
However I bet he gets a grovelling letter/free Range Rover from the dealer in question unlike if it was one of us who'd still get fobbed off if we didn't have a news paper colum.

Junior, I doubt if he will get anything, he has been treated just like many of us have been when we have had our vehicles looked at why should he get a different service after he has collected it Question At least is proves that there is no customer prejudice we are all treated the same. It would do more good if LR Censored the dealer concerned as they are the first face of LR that the customer sees.

Oh, he would get treated differently, of that I have no doubt. The rest of us would have had to suffer all that plus a half eaten Curry in the Glove box and the Turd in the Footwell. I also have no doubt, he will get LR and the Dealership falling over themselves with cash credits, discount vouchers and freebies of every kind. Thats the world of Celebrities we live in unfortunately.

Don't a lot of celebs get free or hugely discounted cars anyway as a celebrity endorsement to the cars brand

Clarkson often seems to stick by LR cars so I would be supprised if it wasn't one Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

I think his range Rover's bought, he did an article about it about a year ago, an ex demo, or very low mileage TDV8 Vogue SE that he picked up for peanuts.

It is true that every week he has something to test that gets dropped on his drive and picked up the next week though. Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35
Family's: 2009 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Auto, Stornoway

Yorkshire - God's County

I remember working on a film set, a Mel Gibson film. Anyway, he got a black, top of the range RR to play with. That said, he never drove it, just sat in the front passenger seat working his way thro' multi packets of cigs at lunchtime. LR got an endorsement in the film credits and that was it. A Liam Neilson and a Christopher Lambert film was the same.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Santorini Black

That reminds me as well of a motoring journalist I once knew.
He said that a well known Grand Prix driver (from the '50s) was given a car to test. When they collected the car the following week, it hadn't done any mileage, but all the fuel had been taken out Rolling Eyes

LOVELY JUBBLY DEL BOY

Oh, my mistake - it wasn't serviced by "Trotters Trading" but a respectable major Land Rover Official Cervix Centre. Whoops sorry that should have been Service........

Although I can't fault the guys in Stockport who service mine.
I must admit to being impressed with the Skoda dealers in Bolton and Eccles when we both had Skodas, no you didn't get coffee, you had to book in weeks in advance to get a courtesy car, but they had the parts in, they knew the vehicles inside out, and didn't give you the run around when in warranty. Both were locally owned.
God they were boring to drive, reliable, just boring. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner
