I found this in one of the Daily papers today, it seems that evev well known personalities are treated the same as us lesser mortals

He Lives in the Cotswolds (see colum in Sunday Times INGEAR supplement) so can't be difficult to find out who he uses and yes you'd think they would go balls out to make sure Clarkson got the very best service It just shows the state of the country these days-No one gives a toss, They still get paid

Junior, I doubt if he will get anything, he has been treated just like many of us have been when we have had our vehicles looked at why should he get a different service after he has collected it At least is proves that there is no customer prejudice we are all treated the same. It would do more good if LR the dealer concerned as they are the first face of LR that the customer sees. |

Oh, he would get treated differently, of that I have no doubt. The rest of us would have had to suffer all that plus a half eaten Curry in the Glove box and the Turd in the Footwell. I also have no doubt, he will get LR and the Dealership falling over themselves with cash credits, discount vouchers and freebies of every kind. Thats the world of Celebrities we live in unfortunately. |

Don't a lot of celebs get free or hugely discounted cars anyway as a celebrity endorsement to the cars brand

I think his range Rover's bought, he did an article about it about a year ago, an ex demo, or very low mileage TDV8 Vogue SE that he picked up for peanuts.

I remember working on a film set, a Mel Gibson film. Anyway, he got a black, top of the range RR to play with. That said, he never drove it, just sat in the front passenger seat working his way thro' multi packets of cigs at lunchtime. LR got an endorsement in the film credits and that was it. A Liam Neilson and a Christopher Lambert film was the same. |
