United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Hello.
What is it the kids say before Christmas? Just 2 sleeps to go before my first LR. Can't wait.
Dare I mention the removable tow bar for my Ca**van!
Ordered in July and have read the forum frequently looking for the MY11 updates. Most enjoyable. TD4e Manual Stornoway Grey. Winter Pack. Sunroof.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Narvik Black

Thought I should formally introduce myself and say hello Wink

Just picked up my 2007 FL2 SE in black on full alpaca and first impressions are good! Had a 330i before so it had a lot to live up too.

Things I like include;
High seating position and comfy drive
its easy!
all the toys
the rear seats for the kids (we have 3)
an OK size boot
the Image
The sun roofs
The wife likes it

Things I still need to get used too;
the diesel rattle - but then no PSA diesels are quiet
The green lit dash is a bit dull
some of the plastics feel a bit cheap

Either way the pros list is longer than the cons list (at the moment) so I think I'm gonna like it Very Happy Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

Another Hello...

Hi all,

Just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself.

I’m probably the most Northern member in the forum in England at least?. At the bottom of my garden is an old wall built by Hadrian? Beyond that, is another world.

Anyway, after a few months of not having a Land Rover in the family; the first sheet ice, and then within hours the first flood of this Cumbrian autumn saw the cheque book being dug out rapidly. An expensive conversation with a not so local, but certain site sponsor in Park Royal, will see a new vehicle, a 2010 MY HSE Freelander 2 in Lago arriving shortly
