Yep they come as standard in the UK. What about wheels? Should we stick with standard 18" hse or go for the 19" options which there Are two of. |

19's finish the car off nicely, we kept the 18's with ours because ours heads into the hills sometimes and the tyres are more suited. Bigger wheels don't destroy the ride quality though so if you stay on road they'd be a nice addition! Congrats on the order! Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Exactly the same spec as ours (albeit a 2010 MY TD4). Only we also went for a full size spare, is that now standard on the 2011 cars? We considered 19" alloys and decided against because of higher liklihood of kerbing and the fact if you change your mind you can pick them up on eBay anyway. 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass. |

Best thing is to check eBay and see what's on there, though I have not seen any of the latest styles on there

Yes and the £600 ish usually buys you a set with tyres, leaving you with a set of 18"s with tyres over and above what you would have had if you ticked the option box. I reckoned on looking into this when the original tyres need replacing in a couple of years time.
