Just ordered my 2011 FL2 SD4 HSE !!

Very Happy
We've never owned a Land rover before and yesterday took the plunge.
Only got the brochure on Wednesday for the new face lifted 2011 model and ordered it yesterday.
It's due in 2nd week of October. Can't wait!!
Gone for auto box, black with nutmeg and almond interior, Xenon lights & privacy glass.
Any advice on other options you'd recommend that I've missed off would be welcomed before it goes to final build.
Thanks for your thoughts
Jibers

Congrats, with an HSE you've pretty much covered it all. But I would have opted for privacy glass, moonroof, detatchable tow-bar, and heated side-mirrors, et al. Leopard tank drivers never stop at anything.

Yep they come as standard in the UK. What about wheels? Should we stick with standard 18" hse or go for the 19" options which there Are two of.

19's finish the car off nicely, we kept the 18's with ours because ours heads into the hills sometimes and the tyres are more suited. Bigger wheels don't destroy the ride quality though so if you stay on road they'd be a nice addition! Congrats on the order! Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Exactly the same spec as ours (albeit a 2010 MY TD4). Only we also went for a full size spare, is that now standard on the 2011 cars? We considered 19" alloys and decided against because of higher liklihood of kerbing and the fact if you change your mind you can pick them up on eBay anyway. 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass.

Can't wait!
Do you have a photo in and out you could share?
Also with the xenons on?

Nice spec as stated Thumbs Up

But wait and see what 19" come up on eBay for a fraction of dealer priced wheels and then you could have two sets, one for summer and maybe a set for winter or mud Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

The option currently for the 19" versions is £650.

Will the ebay prices be any less do you think?

Best thing is to check eBay and see what's on there, though I have not seen any of the latest styles on there

But often see sets for £600+ 'ish but if you think about it by going eBay you'll have two sets if wheels for your extra money Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yes and the £600 ish usually buys you a set with tyres, leaving you with a set of 18"s with tyres over and above what you would have had if you ticked the option box. I reckoned on looking into this when the original tyres need replacing in a couple of years time.

I also thought that the 18" silver finish worked better with Santorini Black than the darker 19"s. They look great on a white car though... 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass.
