I wanted to wait for the faxelifted FL2, but couldn't guarantee the finance on offer in Sept/Oct, plus the price! I saw in Buisiness pages that LR sales are up 89% compared to last year. I don't think LR need to be offering cheap finance for much longer v

My 1p worth. The facelift is ok. Nowt to get xcited over. Best gettin a deal on an "old" fl2 and adding the xterior bits l8r from fleabay. Just my 1p worth. Live your life be free-lander

would have been nice to see the facelift have an updated dash like those featured in the RRS or Disco 4 - FL2 dash is starting to show its age

LR2maker don't understand why you are not encouraging us all to buy the latest model when it appears as soon that will be all you make! Unless you make the old and new car together for a while?
I was in the factory a couple of weeks ago and it was fascinating. So much care and attention going into our cars! Can't wait for LRX to appear especially in 2WD for us non-offroad types...... My Baby - Santorini Black HSE

i don't think he was saying that the facelift is rubbish, merely that old stock might represent better value 

I agree, basically saying, not much has changed between the 2 models i think

I can guarantee the biggest change in the facelift model will be a big price increase, no low finance offers judging by the waiting list for new LR cars & this years sales figures. If I had all the money I spent on Beer!, I'd spend it on Beer!.

I have returned from my meeting regarding 2011my Freelander. Unfortunately there is an embargo until 5th August with regard to releasing any specific details of any proposed changes etc.

LR are trying to bring the embargo date forward, and rest assured I will post info as soon as I am authorised to do so.

Yep the 11my will sell well. Just tryin 2 save peeps sum pennies. Not a major change from 10my. Think old and last xtypes made. Had a few my11 on the line. Engines look same unless new 1 "chipped". Also demand worldwide increasing all the time. Live your life be free-lander
