Frankly, as a facelift I like the "new" Freel2. The new grill has brought it up to date with the rest of the range whilst maintaining the excellent profile.
The maligned tailgate strip surely can be colour coded but in itself gives the impression of the car being broader as the eye is drawn outwards to take in the breadth of the vehicle. I also think this detail has been included to pander to the American market which is very important to JLR.
Personally I'm more interested in what the interior is like as I feel this is the area where the Freel2 was / is weakest when compared with the rest of the range (Defender excepted) and other competitors.
Furthermore, JLR should be more honest with their consumption figures but really what do we expect of an all combustion engined 4x4. Having said that the new (as of September '10) BMW X3 2.0 d really does have an impressively low mpg figure. I can believe BMW as I run a 520d and it is very frugal indeed.
The "new" Freel2 is a tempting option and I could see myself trading my beemer in for this vehicle in full spec' HSE mode.

Shocked Stunned, car always looks like it did as no one special was coming so I didn't feel the need. Thud Tipped him off on the Eunuch Thud On the "scale" of things I will need to "weigh" it up to see if all this is worth a San Miguel, is it correct in Leeds they are limited to one per person per month Question Thumbs Up

Most CC sites do!
They offer WiFi (at a cost)
Most of us use dongles or phones with net access though, it's cheaper Wink
