I've ordered an XS (delivery due July) - should I have waited ?!? Although looking at those pics, there doesn't seem to be too much difference - maybe the interior is ? Confused

UB, personally I would wait as you'll be only a month or so from the new model. It looks like grille to match RR Sport, new bumpers and probably new colour coding on the bootlid etc. The interior will be the bug improvement.

Roll your order, but dealers won't 'know' anything about it yet officially. So have an off the record chat.

Doesn't look like a massive change, will it be Freelander 3 on the back, I recon so. 2010MY Freelander 2 HSE Auto

Didn't LRmaker state on here some weeks ago that he preferred the current model to the upcoming facelift ?
And how would I roll my order - would they do that ? And will the facelift model cost extra ?

I had origanaly placed deposit for lrx, but have since spoken to my dealer and said that it would more likely be a freelander i will go for and he told me to wait. He couldn't tell me much but he thought that the restyled fl2 would be out in october.

I was about to order my FL2 hse galway green for 1 9 2010 BUT...just intime heard about the facelift model so I decided to wait a few weeks and see!

I think on another thread James mentioned that there is a meeting next week (19th, I think) which will give him more info on the facelift. He says he will post back with his findings Prospective Freelander 2 owner

Hi Yaugher, have you any more details you can share? I was going to purchase the Sport LE - got what I think is a good price of £24,075 but have decided to wait.
Do you know whether the facelift model will be on sale in time for September delivery? Prospective Freelander 2 owner

The 11my same as fl2 just diff style bumpers, alloys. Some int tweaks to dash, seat style etc. Hasn't got xmas tree lights. Longer tailgate plinth. New colours. More cosmetic than anything. More info after the dealer meeting i expect. Live your life be free-lander
