With respect, I am wondering why you bought the vehicle in the first place if the above comment is correct,unless of course you felt this way after the purchase.

Just got my new XS auto after an Audi A6 Sline Auto.............. build quality is comparable thankfully.

Only niggle I can find so far and this may be me not having had chance to look at the handbook yet but........ when using the phonebook to dial someone in the phone thru the bluetooth, it appears that the only way you can see who you are dialling is by looking at centre console/radio disply... on the Audi its in the driver display and obviously dangerous to take your eyes of the road.

Driving it with the issue I have certainly does not put a smile on my face at all in fact even when they are normal the driving experience is just a drive & nothing special at all like 95% of all cars. They are a nice drive but that is all. My MGZT 260-V8 really put a huge grin & nothing I have owned since has ever done the same.

So really my irritations with the spec are reignighted by the vehicles own issues & to be honest I want rid of it if it don't get sorted. I did sugest to LR customer relations that perhaps the best solution was to park it outside the factory, set fire to it & post it on You-tube!!

You thought the MGZT V8 was good? You don't know much about cars. To get only that small amount of power from a Ford V8 is a bit of a joke, and the build quality was even worse!

Possibly would be but likely a better road vehicle unfortunately which pains me to say as I am a Brit car buyer. The FL2 IMO is a let down. I may change my oppinion if I get niggles sorted but not just jet. A lot of my irritation re the car however is LR customer service or rather a complete lack of & the blasted phone non intregation set up.

Lypsyl, Thank you for the first in depth reply to my posts. I wanted a RRS but couldn't afford one & in true reallity I could barely afford the FL2 which maybe in part why I am possibly expecting too much for what I consider to be a lot of money.Yes there are some trim related niggles I have but I bought it so will have to live with them but it is/was the fact that everytime I contacted LR or the dealer it was like no body was the slightest bit interested including you.I have at long last been speaking to someone that I was recomended to speak to at LR & I am fairly confident that he will change my oppinion of my car & LRs customer service. One thing I really do hate is poor or no customer service - it drives me mad, however when I recieve good or exceptional customer service I will reward that person/company by singing their praises

I just like my vehicle to be different & wanting to tailor my interior trim should be an option as I was spending my money but currently is not but should be on FL3 I imagine. Once I have my couple of niggles sorted I look forward to enjoying my FL2 especially as I have just bought another set of wheels for it . I do like it & with the accessories looks very smart but when something annoys me whatever it is & doesn't get sorted I get angry rightly or wrongly.

Those members I believe you refer to were banned if I remember correctly.

EV, I had a few (looking back) minor electrical issues in a very short period (parking sensors, boot catch) so I can appreciate ur frustration when nothing appears to be getting done. I was convinced I had a Lemon, it made me angry (much like urself) to think that LR had got the better of me by putting in a friday afternoon motor into me. Fact is to me spending £20 odd grand on a motor is allot of money - unfortunately I cannot earn that kinda money in 6 months and I dont think many of the other fellow members can either. In actual fact I bet as a rough guess more than 75% of the members motors on here are either under some kind of finance, pcp or personal loan even if it is for tax reasons eitherway im pretty sure most arent outright with the way lifestyle costs have spiralled.
Anyway, we're all entitle to a moan, personally I dont no of any bad dealers (I use 2 main dealers for various reasons - both are good) although I do keep hearing that LR does house some rotten ones. Only good thing is LR are having a crackdown on these rogue dealers so dont be fooled in thinking theyre not aware.
Anyway, that man will sort you out, I promise you that.
