Fl2 waiting list.

Waiting list for a fl2 factory order is 16weeks at the moment. Live your life be free-lander

How embarassing for LandRover that they couldn't plan better to meet their customers requirements.

Tuttut..glad I'm not on that list I'd have gone elsewhere

Then why trade so early - possibly losing thousands and ending up buying another Freelander just the same - maybe different colour but Rimini would be my next choice!
Can't belice the HSE doesn't have enough toys?

If I sold it would be not to buy another, just to get rid but could only do if I could get the right price as finance is on the car. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I recognise that and obviously it is good that LR are popular again after a lean couple of years. However it will alienate customers who want to buy one when the dealer says..you might be lucky and get one in 3 months time..oh and you can't have a second hand one as I haven't got any!

I just feel that LR ought to be able to ramp up production to meet demand rather than make the customer wait. Flexible production is the successful car factory. Grab the customers while you can!

Try Guy Salmon Stratford -on- Avon - placed my factory order Feb 12th without prior warning and they seem confident that delivery date is end of March. Ask for Richard in sales.

Nothing to be proud of, however, better than ramping up product (i.e faster build times) and then allowing even more silly irritating faults to creep into the FL2 that are not weeded out before they reach the consumer.

Would be interesting to know what FL2 competitor lead times are in the UK.

It not a bad show IMO its shows how popular the FL2 is, Other brands the waiting list could be longer, buying and waiting is part of the buying process, unless you fall lucky and they have a car in the compound sitting waiting to be bought or for somebody to alter what spec they want to get the car earlier. I didn't say anything about them rushing production, the car was part built and has been diverted to my dealer....was only trying to helpful .... Byeeeee!
