Unwell Freel 2 Cutting Out

As many of you may be aware my freelander 2 HSE (Genuine wheels) is currently in the sick bay of the local dealer of which it is now twenty days. It deveoped a fault where as it just cuts out for about two seconds and then it carries on as though nothing has happened, it will not do it stationary but only at speeds say over 25mph.
The dealer has called today to say that they really don't know what the cause is but they do know it has the problem as it has done it with them.
So far they have fitted a new Turbo, Crank Shaft Sensor along with redoing the software, they are currently fitting a complete Engine Harness. This is all on the advice of LR who it seems do know of the problem but do not know the cause.
They have told me that they are not convinced that this will solve the problem as they have had this on another one last Autumn which they thought they had solved but this week it has returned.

My question after all this is, has anyone else had this as it seems I am not alone in this. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

I had a problem where all the ignition lights came on starting up, but it wouldn't crank. It didn't always do this. Anyway, it turned out to be a faulty starter button. I presume it could effect it in motion, but it didn't happen to me.

I sympathsise with you, it took LR 10 days of the car in the garage to get to the bottom of this problem.

This is a strange one, you travel along say 50mph, the power goes then 2 seconds later its back, no warning lights or anything. If you are accelerating from the traffic lights when it does it very near causes whiplash, your head and body is thrown forward then back in the seat again. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
