I was going to say that Nick (Welcome by the way Thumbs Up ) can have some of our snow but some spoilsports keep gritting the roads, so we need all we can get Laughing

Many Thanks - I hope so too - Looking at the long range forecast it's here for a while - In North Beds there are quite a few roads that thankfully never see any grit.

Regards Nick

Well it looks as though my search for an FL2 will have to continue for a wee while yet.

The one I had my eye on is now sold Big Cry - my own fault for not pulling my finger out!

So if you know of a good one then let me know!

Finally decided to sign-up to your great forum - have been a lurker for a while Embarassed
Currently looking for a used FL2 HSE or XS in either Stornoway or Zermatt.
Still undecided on HSE or XS spec - although I do like the idea of the "moon roof".

Currently driving an E91 BMW Touring - totally useless in this weather Big Cry

Have been very surprised by the turnover of FL2 stock on LR website this week. Good for resale values Laughing

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black

Evening all Smile
I have finally decided to register to your great forum, have been lurking around the forum for the last few days and have found all the information on here very useful Thumbs Up

We are currently looking for a new MY2010 GS in a Black or Silver. Have been in touch with a few dealers and am due to drive up to Lookers Park Royal on the Saturday to hopefully see if they can do a good deal for my part exchange and the price of the new Freelander.

Currently driving an 07 Honda Civic Type S GT and though I totally love the car, we just fancy a change and having never owned a 4x4, couldnt think of a better one than the Freelander 2.

What are the essential options I should look for other than maybe the side steps which I would try and get as part of the deal?

Having never owned a car from new, can you help and let me know if it is better to wait for the new '10 reg car or go for a 59 plate?

Looking forward to some offroading once I get behind the wheel of the FL2.

Hi swfrom07 - Good luck with the shopping trip on Saturday, I've not been but always see good reports from LPR Thumbs Up

Ref your question on essential options - let me tell you your never going to get a straight answer to that one as it's an 'each to their own' Laughing YOU (and your independent financial advisor/wife/sister/mother in law) should pick what YOU really like and enjoy it.
