Wales 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Hi Guys,

Looks like a good forum youve got going here. Thumbs Up
Anyway the reason I'm here is after being stuck in the snow for a week and having to walk to work, I thought it time to go back to the 4X4 driving again.

Been doing some reading up on your forum for things to look out for as i plan to purchase very soon.

I notice that the main problems seem to be.

1. Steering rack failure.
2. driving seat dropping.

Do yo guys have any other advice for potential new owner to look out for when purchasing.

Of course by all means buy a FL2, but keep walking to work as I do - keeps you fit for other things Thumbs Up

Hi Boxer, they are the main issues for sure plus in my case and many others the parking sensors....not the end of the world as they should only be used as a suppliment but still an annoyance on a +£20k car. Looks like some mobile phones won't connect properly either to the cars system - mine connects but the reception is terrible but I think there's a dealer fix - enjoy the car search Thumbs Up
If your after a manual diesel XS fully spec'd up with the sport pack there was a user called Frobius that was selling his car (He's in the army and going back to do his bit overseas Bow down - don't really know why 'we' are over 'there' but anyway that's another story) look in the for sale section and send him a PM
