Then you should either go to another LR dealer mentioning your unsatisfied feelings about the difficult dealer you have today. Alternativly get in touch with the Land Rover importer for Russia and explain the situation to them. This is what I have had to do earlier (when I owned a BMW) and this worked very well. The dealer in my case could'nt do enough to help afterwards 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. This is really not much of a problem here in Norway, allthough we got freezing temperatures in the winter.

Athelstan, you have described all very good. But would you write references on the said coordinates? My friends from Russian site are asking them. Freelander II 2,2 TD SE Stornoway Grey Sorry for my wry English. I began to study it recently. I'll be thankful for your corrections of my mistakes |

Lar Tell your friends on the Russian site that I do not wish to be unhelpful but: a) I'm not a "shtrafniki" or a "iazyki" - my role is that of your Kamenev; a strategist not secretary. b) And that they will find them easily enough using their undoubted intellect and the internet. Good Hunting |

Contra to Vikings advice - DO NOT poor hot water over frozen locks in freezing temperatures - the lock will refreeze sooner than you can antifreeze it and you may not be able to close the door or boot lid afterwards - this is from personal silly experiance The best is prevention is by using Vikings other advise and do not wash your car in very cold temperatures particularly if the temperatures are likely to drop overnight and if you don’t have the possibility to dry it out overnight in a heated garage 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Well, I have tried it myself on another car I had years ago. And it worked fine. Open the door before it refreezes.

Maybe a hairdryer or fan heater (with an insulated cable for safety) held close to the frozen lock would be a better solution.
