I will renew the argument here. the side vents are cosmetic , the only air input into the air filter box comes from just under the headlight. there are no ducts leading into the wing or anywhere else near the side vent. At work

If all the ducting is there then why is no one making a snorkel for the FL2 - usually you would see this on the G4 cars - Mole any ideas? Any ideas when this modification came in? Better get my tools out and take a look at mine! It worried me that LR hadn't made this particular car under Ford ownership quite as versatile as the previous ones. I have been looking for a snorkel since before I bought the car. After discussion with various LRE guys rumour has it that LR took the FL2 on an expedition to Iceland during testing, and when crossing rivers they had to send disco accross first and then winch the FL2 across because it floated, hence why no snorkel.
