Hi CG
Well if you count the "tick boxes" in the spec lists it hits more of them than the SE, but hey I don't care, I'd just wanted to answer the "Model" question in the profile page correctly i.e: "Newport". And I'd have liked to have answered the model year and colour questions accurately too. Oh well, cannot have everything in life can we. Very Happy

NO PROBLEM Very Happy

Just give me the date and time of flight arrival (I have ski/snowboard rack up top) and will take 3 adults.

Round trip from here in Kantone Glarus to Meribel FR via Aeroport Geneva 996kms (622mls).

The fee can be discussed privately via PM upon confirmation of arrival date Confused

No it won't - 8 will still get the rotten cold stinky mini bus and take an age to get there.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Izmir Blue

Hello to you all - I have recently been given the enviable task of sourcing a FL2 for my father who lives in the Highlands of Scotland.

I have seen a few as it stands but have my heart set on a nice Izmir blue XS with extras and warranty that I am hoping to collect on Sunday.

I am very impressed with these cars (my Dads currently running a FL1 Big Cry ) so he should be over the moon with my choice.

Hello again and thanks for the info I have pillaged so far!! Laughing

Andrew Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Done the deed!

We went in for an SE and came out with an HSE - classic feature creep. Thumbs Up

We've now added a 1yr old F2 HSE auto in Stornaway Grey to the household Land Rover collection. The plan was that my wife would drive it and I'd stick to my 110 (which was our family car up until last week). I have to say, though, that I find myself looking for excuses to take the F2 Whistle

Amazing car! It practically drives itself - I'd forgotten what effortless motoring was like. It even goes above 80 (urr, I mean, according to the brochure, Officer).

It feels very claustrophobic with the window shut Razz

I've also noticed a strange set of controls in the middle that seem to make music come out. I have something similar in the Defender but I can't detect any music above the background noise.

Newbie

Hi, just bought a 2007 (07) XS in black. 25,000 mls. Love this car. My last LR (a few cars ago) was a 2004 Discovery but the FL2 is so much nicer to drive..

My hobbies involve boats and off-road bikes so need to be able to tow the toys on & off beaches and up and down country lanes, plus normally a 3 hour drive in both directions. Reckon the Freelander is the ideal tool.

Looks a treat too.

Expect the odd niggle from my pride and joy (not to mention the dealers) , so I 'm sure the forum will be a god send. Look forward to participating
