Evening all - just made the move from a 1.8 FL1 to a 57 GS 2.2 with body kit & 19's, really pleased with it - completely different drive to the FL1 although that never let us down in 4yrs.

as long as service is done using LR parts your fine, but i would check with a local LR dealer on schedules of services, as if he does the service too early/or late in miles/or time this could cause problems. (i'm sure its on the forum somewhere, but a call might be easier) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I must admit I only used the LR approved used car search facility which only threw up 13 FL2 XS's between £16000 and £18000, so I did limit my market in that respect I did see a really nice black XS in Ayr, which if I wouldnt have bought the one I did look at, I would have taken the family on a 'emergency' weekend away to Scotland to take a look! Although it did have a tow bar fitted!! Just planning a couple of timid green lane trips so when I pick it up I can start getting an idea of its capabilities. Richard |
