Are you sure its a pump failure, not a poor electrical connection or blocked screen filter.

No it's had the "gearbox fault traction reduced" message on the dash.

Yes - the classic wheelspin and a horrid bearing noise at speed - thought it was PTU spline failure , as did Bell Engineering. Once on the ramps they took the PTU off and then realised that wasnt the cause - turned out to be a dead haldex pump and a failed front NS wheel bearing ! Jules |

No it wasn't gunked up at all but I've serviced mine at least twice before. With filters and oil within the last 2 years, the oil which came out was brown rather than black.
