DEG5Y, I don't so much mind the system/interface, but the satnav doesn't seem to always give the best route and sometimes seem to be going round in circles.

I think the USB update gets your VIN embedded into it and will only work in the car with that VIN.

That is about the lowest price you will get - most of the cost is the permission code from JLR.
