I think the one that I replaced may have been the original, 200,000 kms on it. |

Could you please tell me if those refurbished units from WeAreDiffs worked out well for you? Are they reliable? I've heard of BellEngineering, but they don't have the differential I need in stock. MY2014 Si4 HSE Auto |

I used Freelanderspecialist.com 3+ years ago and their customer service was spectacular.

Yes, I talked to Freelanderspecialist.com, but they also don't have a PTU for my Freelancer in their stock (I would have to wait for the restoration of my own unit). That's why I asked about WeAreDiffs; they claim to have been around for quite a while (25 years?), but there aren't many reviews about them. MY2014 Si4 HSE Auto |

Freelander has long gone now, but they were fine. No issues with the box whilst I owned the car. Only slight issue I had was with the collection of the old transfer box (they deliver a new one and you give them the old one). I got a call to say the crate that was delivered back to them was empty. I spoke to my garage and they were absolutely adamant they had packed it because they asked the driver to help them load it into the van…they even went off the find the CCTV footage of them loading it, but when I spoke to wearediffs, they accepted what I was saying and I heard nothing more. |
