The latest XC60 has nothing in common with the FL2 (a 20 year old design) Jules |

Yes I find the FL2 boot space a bit small some times but I too was spoiled - Discovery 2 and Octavia estate; both a tardis on wheels Jules |

When the kids are little a big estate was needed for all their stuff. When they are older you would think that a large boot is not needed, but we are still needed for moving stuff. Just different stuff. |

Anything after a Discovery 2 seems to have a small boot! The amount of wine it could smuggle import into the UK was fantastic. The Freelander does seem small by comparison but it's perfectly adequate 99% of the time. Anything that won't go in, it has roof rails or I'll take the trailer. The Volvo XC60 range of power units and specs contains some interesting features and would be/ will be high on my list of FL2 replacements.
