Traction reduced, and Special Programs unavailable normally point to a problem with the Haldex. Has it ever been serviced? The car could be only running in 2WD with the rear wheels not available due to a Haldex fault. Other than that, there could be a problem with the abs or a wheel sensor as they are all part of the traction control and special programs system. |

Or a dying battery, well known for producing fictitious transmission error, plus a few more, My 2012 SD threw a few before the battery change. Coincidently very near the same mileage my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

The problem has been traced to a failed pump in the Haldex unit. My local indie is fixing it today £Ouch. Regretably I don't have the ability to do the job myself.

The Haldex pump, oil and filter has been changed and the software updated but the problem still persists.

So the fault may not have been with the pump.

Ive found that connection really hard to pull apart - broke the connector's locking mechanism in doing so - now held together with a cable tie Jules |
