Hello! Now that I own a FL2 Dave said I had to register on here. I doubt I'll be able to contribute very much car-wise but at least I'll feel one of the gang now.

Hello all............I will be getting a FL2 sometime soon hopefully, just looking for the right deal on my BMW330d touring, (not big enough),

I did test drive a Freelander late last year and liked it but had a rush of blood and bought the BMW instead....wish i'd of stuck to the original plan, must of been on the verge of a mid life crisis . 'Tis plenty fast enough and good on fuel but it just isn't right for me, has held it's value well tho' so that's a bonus.

I have been loitering a while and gleening the site for info' etc but thought i'd say hello as i've made my mind up now

Just bought a new Freelander 2 GS in Lago grey and am absolutely pleased with the purchase. Only options on it are metallic (obviously) and full size spare. Bought thru drive the deal for a serious discount so had to take what was in stock. Subsequently purchased an arm rest from the Wood Company in Italy and it does what is said on the packet - dead easy to fit.
