My 2014 SE Tech has done the same.
Its not the removable surround (cf Powerfold) that is the problem but the horizontal grill bars. My understanding is that on later cars the grill is integral with the whole front bumper and cannot be separated from it. So Ive elected to do nothing - its not rust - its just rubbish painting by whoever JLR paid - If it makes a difference when I decide to dispose of the car then I may do something about it. Jules |

Does anybody know the paint codes for the surround and grill bars?

Assume you painted over the chrome effect trim, do you plan to fit the Powerful uk trim as well? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

All ready fitted, that's why I am happy with the colour match on the grill.

Is the Powerfuluk trim silver, as in painted silver colour, or actually chrome effect?
