You'd probably find the Freelander feels old fashioned after the Kodiaq.

2 x tow-cars; if I get an automatic, she'll sell the Q3, & get a smaller car as a 'runabout' (I'm thinking Fabia) FreeLander old-fashioned?; I had that Discovery 50th for 4 years, so I'm sure a late FL will be more modern than that?? I'd miss the internal space & larger load-space of the Kodiaq though I doubt a FreeLander could offer me the 50+MPG averages either?? Or, am I talking myself out of one there??? Jules; I've been in a couple of times, back in the late 80s Friar Tucks was the one of choice for me Can't give an opinion, on the beers they have, as I've been teetotal since passing my driving test in the early 80s My old 'Heritage' Last edited by Richard A Thackeray on 21st Jan 2024 9:18 am. I’d keep the Skoda - says me, who’s the owner of his fourth Fl2 - a Metropolis presently.

I'd already owned my Kodiaq for about 15-18 months before she got the Q3, as carà vanning was restricted to my availability to tow the 'van to a site Ie; my days-off/shifts/annual-leave With her own car she could tow, despite never even towed a 4' ×3' trailer! She did kerb the 'van a few times apparently (motor-mover, for pitching up) Now, it's on a site |
