My amp / AAM came off a Jaguar XJ (X351), but you have to be careful with the part numbers!

Today i went to a diagnose service to activate the changes made to the sound system and the guy said that in order to do so he has to update the car soft and that is a risk to fail and loose everything... Not a risk I would take... The second option is to backup a soft from another LR with premium from factory and write it on mine.

There is always a risk flashing a chip/module. The most important consideration in my mind would be the supply charger to keep the battery maintained at 13.6 volts and at 25-30 amps. The second important consideration would be not to disconnect the programmer or computer until it's successfully flashed. Keep flashing until it takes or you will need a replacement module regardless. If there is a power failure while the process is underway, you are SOL.

I went to the best guy on cars diagnose and mod in my area and after a few hours of testing and reaserch, even from LR dealership he arrived tt the conclusion that is impossible to make changes to the cars software as it is now, maybe because this is a 2014 FL and JLR made it more restrictive. That being said he gave me 2 options:

By the way, the rear pillar speakers are working without making any software changes. Do them work at full capacity? I don't know... But if they do, is it worth the trubble for one more speaker? |

I doubt you will source the parts from one location.

Hi Guys, Please can someone PM me the 3 X CCF mods that need to activated/altered to enable the prem upgrade. I have the amp and 3 speakers installed. This is my final step.
