I had this noise three times last weekend and checked around but couldnt find anything amiss. I assumed it was probably the jockey wheel touching the road on a bumpy road. |

Just contacted LR Customer Services who know nothing of this problem and told me to contact the dealer who told me they were not aware of any problem either. !! |

Yes please keep us posted on that. Have you a date for it or did they just say mid June ? I may contact Brink tomorrow to see if they can throw any light on it. Anything positive and I will post it on here. |

No, not a definite date but mid June was quoted and as we are trvelling to Cornwall on the 21st I wanted to ensure that the mod. was carried out beforehand. The dealer could not say that it was definite but as the issue was not safety critical it was not a concern. (It may not be SC but the sound makes you think that either a spring breaks or something similar). Ralph

I have suffered from this very alarming noise too - intermittent and by and large unpredictable. I tried the grease suggestion before one outing and it has almost eliminated it since then. (May need a dab more on now).
