Just for the record here in case anyone else searches this. I bought a 2012 with 93k miles on the clock and couldn't find any record of a cambelt change. It had a good history (main dealer) so I rang them and they gave me the details of the services including that the aux belt had been changed in 2019.

For peace of mind I got my local to do a cambelt change (just under £400) expecting as a number of posts here have said that the belt would look like new. It didn't. Tiny cracks across the belt and showing signs of wear.

Just goes to show you. Thumbs Up

£400 is ok, as long as it includes an OE water pump, and belt kit. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
